Wow, I really do love being busy. There are moments of course when I feel like falling down on the floor and sleeping for days, but I'd rather I felt like that then bored all the time.
I'm in the processes of trying to figure out my taxes. Its harder than usual since I started my business this past year. I need to do it this weekend so I still have a chance to get some financial aid for school next semester.

So I'm one class away from the end of by second week of classes here at FIT. I'd forgotten what it was like to be this tired all the time. I really love it though. It's a lot of work and I'll probably turn a funny green colour by the end of the semester but I'm glad I'm here. It isn't giving me much time to make more Hopelessly Creative bags but I'm doing my best. I was planning to launch some new styles for the spring but I don't know if that will be possible at this point. The online store will continue to operate, don't worry about that.
I've been sneezing a bit the past few days and I'm a little worried I'll get the whole school sick. It's been such a long time since I've had as much as a cold but its also been a while since I've been around this many people day after day. I'll just keep taking my vitamins and hope for the best.

Something very exciting has happened. I've been accepted to the fashion design program at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York. Orientation starts tomorrow and classes start next week. Its a little strange to think of being a freshman again at 25. It will be worth it.
I'll be keeping to web site going of course. I know its a lot but I always prefer to be busy then sitting around doing nothing.

Well, I'm sitting here at my computer working on the first update to my site in 2007. The "Bag Of the Week" still continues but I'm adding other sales as well. My New Years Eve was very quiet. I'm still waiting to hear from FIT. There was a silly mix up with my high school transcript coming all the way from the barren wasteland that is Edmonton, Alberta. I'm just kidding. I spent 7 decent years there, though the dry air was a little tough on my skin. Fort Saskatchewan is a long way from New York, or New Jersey for that matter I really hope I get that letter in the mail on Tuesday. Oh ya, the picture at the top is our new "Bag of the Week." All corduroy bags are also on sale all month long.
